I find the connection of the body to the vessel form an interesting concept, and I often explore this connection from the “body as vessel” perspective. While the exterior can range from drab to highly ornate, the vessel is also a container. What is contained can range from the banal to the sublime – or simply nothing at all. The intimate dialog between container and what is contained reflects the human experience – what do we hold inside and how do we choose to exhibit it.
